Senior Construction Superintendent - Commercial

Locally owned and award-winning general contractor is adding field supervision leadership.
Actively seeking Superintendents for regional federal, government, and commercial projects valuing up to $100M
- Projects include: federal government offices, buildings, and installations.
- Hotels, medical offices, hospitals, higher education, cultural centers, and assisted living communities and mixed-use communities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Superintendent will have overall responsibility for an assigned construction project with a focus on safety, quality, budget and schedule.
- Implement all safety policies and quality programs, ensuring strong performance on safety audits
- Manage the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity
- Plan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controls
- Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executives
- Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements
- Creates change orders to execution
- Miscellaneous purchases
- Review subcontract agreements
- Maintain strict control over the budget for each work activity
- Coordinate receipt of and inventory of all owner supplied materials
- Assist in preparation of project status report and provide complete daily reports to the Project Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Verticals include but are not limited to government and commercial Projects
- A minimum of 15 years of construction experience as a Superintendent on projects valued over $75M
- The capability of maintaining and following a Critical Path project schedule
- A thorough understanding of and ability to maintain a current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related items
- General computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reports

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
