Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to work at the assisted living program supporting a safe a effective provision of service to adults with mental illness, and mental illness with substance use disorder diagnosis. As a Senior Community Services Associate, you will be providing general care essential to caring for personal needs and activities of daily living, such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, ambulating toileting and conducts social and daily living skills training programs. Will monitor resident signaling system, participate in checking and stocking monthly medications, and as directed will administer insulin to diabetic consumers and assist with medication management under direction of nursing staff and pharmacists. One year of direct care work experience in a long term care facility is preferred. Valid Virginia’s driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. High school degree required. Must currently hold a license as a Registered Medication Aide in the state of Virginia. Starting salary of $18.20/hour with shift differentials for evenings and weekends. Negotiable.
