Role Summary

The Senior Accountant will serve a critical role in a growing organization, reporting initially to OCP’s Chief Financial Officer and building out the accounting function. This person will not only be responsible for performing core accounting functions but will get to work closely with finance, operations, development, and practice-level personnel as appropriate with the anticipated expansion of our practice footprint.

Requirements

  • Ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting at each of OCP’s practices
  • Oversee and manage the month-end close process
  • Work closely with finance in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting for management and the Board
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP
  • Function as a liaison with OCP’s external auditors, preparing reports in support of external audit requests and working with auditors to resolve any issues
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Participate in diligence processes around potential partnerships and acquisitions

Qualifications

  • Accounting degree (with graduate degree preferred but not required)
  • Active CPA license or working toward CPA license
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting and/ or finance, with particular preference for experience in healthcare
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP platforms is a plus
  • US work authorization
