Position: Senior Accountant
Location: 50% remote, 50% onsite in Saint Louis (63132)
Duration: Full Time

Day-to-Day *
A large manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant in the St. Louis, MO area. We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior Accountant who will be responsible for providing accurate financial statements, completing timely month end closings, maintaining Fixed Asset records, inventory costing, and forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
* Financial accounting including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, financial analysis and review of revenue and expenses.
* Fixed Assets management in the fixed asset software and the ERP system.
* Inventory costing management, including costing for added items, standard cost rolls, and review of variances.
* Forecasting and budgeting assistance to the Site Controller and the Site Manager.
* Lead quarterly SOX testing.
Provide backup for other members of the Finance Department, including Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.

Desired Skills and Experience *
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5-7 years experience in accounting
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Strong Excel skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
