Position: Security Project Manager

Overview:

Here at NWOSS, we’re looking for a motivated and team-oriented Security Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be expected to provide a positive experience for our clients on new & existing projects while ensuring that jobs are completed on budget and within scope. Communication is key to this position, as you will be working with our customers and a full support staff, including team members in engineering, sales, service, and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous and consistent communication to clients throughout entire projects, including weekly project status updates.
• Conduct periodic site-visits to projects to manage and oversee progress.
• Assist engineers and salespeople with technical and contractual questions from clients.
• Ensure projects maintain profitability & good cash flow, including prompt & timely billing.
• Work to increase internal efficiency to help generate more profit on projects.
• Act as a fast and responsive information source for clients.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written).
• Fundamental knowledge of video, access control, and intrusion products & software (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, either through basic understanding or working with a team.
• Basic knowledge of typical construction contractual requirements.
• An understanding of construction and electrical contracting processes.
• Comfortable communicating in an array of situations & settings.
• Ability to always maintain a customer-first attitude.
• Detailed management and organizational skills.

Job Duties:

• Review project drawings and bill of materials with engineering & sales team members.
• Order equipment in a responsible & timely manner.
• Coordinate technician schedules with our service department and customers as needed.
• Complete all necessary site visits to projects to ensure they are on-time & within scope.
• Provide consistent updates to customer about plans, progress, and any adjustments.
• Keep detailed written documentation of project details.
• Collect all close-out documents and upload to database.

Salary is dependent upon level of experience. Due to the security nature of our business, offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background check & pre-employment drug test.
