Role

Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, proper, and efficient manner, assist in guiding guests into the appropriate areas, provide knowledgeable information about the park, and follow the directions of and adhere to the rules set forth by management, while maintaining a cheerful and festive attitude.

Duties

• Greet and acknowledge all guests with a friendly and excited smile and wave.
• Provide guests with exceptional service.
• Assist guests to the correct line, if needed in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner.
• Direct incoming traffic in an orderly fashion according to designated lines.
• Be knowledgeable of park, website and ticket information.
• Able to communicate, which includes but is not limited to, greeting guests and informing guests of park policies/general park information, directing guests to all park locations.
• Handling and serving drink and snack items to guests efficiently.
• Using ipads and iphones to generate ticket, merchandise and food & beverage sales.
• Make guest service and satisfaction a priority in every aspect of their job.
• Attend, participate and complete all park-wide orientations.
• Report to work on time and begin to prepare your area.
• Clean your area and surrounding areas. This includes but is not limited to taking out trash, returning vests, replacing name badges and placing radios on the charger.
• Watch for and recognize safety hazards and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be friendly and outgoing with high customer service acumen.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in cooler or warmer conditions.
• Team oriented with excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand with or without movement for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time, as they may be exposed to rain, sun and high and low temperatures.
• Must frequently use hands and handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must reach with hands and arms.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
