RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Doral, FL that is seeking a Scrum Master.

Responsibilities:
  • In this role, the Scrum Master will ensure team compliance with agile methodology and the firm agile framework as well as all necessary artifacts in accordance with the firm's Agile methodology, System Design Methodology (SDM) and all external processes and workflows that are dependencies for ensuring timely delivery of software with a high level of quality
  • Ensure team is meeting sprint goals and release milestones
  • Conduct and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, release planning's, grooming sessions, product reviews, sprint retrospective, etc.)
  • Own and maintain the ALM tool as it pertains to execution within a sprint
  • Maintain the ALM team dashboard for all relevant metrics
  • Ensuring that the ALM tool is utilized effectively by the scrum team
  • The Scrum Master will maintain a clear and consistent channel of communication with Technical Product Manager, Pipeline Manager, WebOps team (Interactive Marketing) and Business representatives to ensure timely and effective communication of statuses and any issues that may be impacting teams' delivery; Point person for communication and escalation back to product owner
  • Track and approve hours worked by team members in portfolio management tool; Track, monitor and manage budget for scrum team
  • Champion for continuous improvement in processes and standards within scrum team; Promote and provide environment for feedback, team communication and innovation
  • As a Scrum Master, you will lead and/or support Release Trains and create all required artifacts for deployments to UAT (user acceptance test) and production environments; Ensure all entry criteria for UAT and production are met; Communicate and collaborate across other scrum teams to support the Release Trains
  • Coach team on Agile mindset and Scrum methodology
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or the equivalent related technical work experience in management of large Agile technology projects or program preferred
  • CSM certification is required; CSPO and SAFe are preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in application development/Scrum Master/IT Project Management of which at least 5 years have been in a Scrum Master position
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Strong experience in demand management
  • Solid budget and financial analysis skills
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Solid experience with Microsoft project, project management tools, spreadsheets and Visio
  • Solid understanding of ASP.NET and C# conceptsASP.NET MVC.Web form page life cycle, caching, session state, cookie management, view state, POST and GET.JavaScript, jQuery and other emerging client side development technologies
  • Servant Leader - Must be able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done
  • Communicative and social - Must be able to communicate well with teams and fellow Scrum Masters
  • Facilitative - Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
Analysis, design, construction and management of high volume web applications inclusive of the following:
  • Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development
  • Understand other development processes and methodologies and leverage other techniques to provide value to the team/enterprise
  • Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
  • Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
  • Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
  • Understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
