Monsignor Slade Catholic School is seeking qualified candidates for a middle school English language arts teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate must hold a current Maryland State Teaching Certificate and have experience working with middle school-aged students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides grade-appropriate instructional programs for students.
- Maintains an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment.
- Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Curriculum.
- Provides grade-appropriate extended or enrichment opportunities.
- Maintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff, and administration
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Hold a current MSDE Certificate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superb interpersonal and time management skills
- Knowledge of 21st century learning, principles theory and practice
