American Healthcare Resources is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered for the Jefferson County area!
Responsibilities:
Provide direct health services to students and staff, including:
- Nursing care and physical screening to students; assess students and implement first aid measures for students as needed.
- Promoting a healthy school environment by monitoring immunizations and ensuring appropriate exclusion for infectious illnesses
- Contribute to the development of school health policies, including: health office organization, training for faculty and staff and other areas as needed and required by state law
- Track and organize student health records and ongoing compliance
- Remain in compliance with the Alabama State Department of Education nursing requirements
- Collaborate with faculty around field trips, to include preparation of first aid bags and preparing health alerts
Qualifications:
- 1 year RN experience (required)
- Experience in pediatrics desirable
- Up to date physical or ability to obtain
- Up to date TB test or ability to obtain
License and Certification:
- Current unrestricted license as Registered Nurse
- CPR/BLS certification
