Duties

• Oversees and manages the Sanitation Supervisor and crew to ensure compliance with all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and timely startup of the plant each production day.
• Manages sanitation employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of sanitation department.
• Responsible for directing Crew/Supervisor(s) on weekend for sanitation/janitorial duties.
• Responsible for completion of corrective action for monthly sanitation audits
• Inventory of sanitation supplies
• Provide expertise and leadership in Sanitation programs.
• Production/Sanitation Plant Employees
• Responsible for preparing and maintaining all requisite documentation for successful implementation of SQF 2000 levels 1,2, and 3 as it pertains to sanitation and related activities.
• Keeps sanitation crew focused on aesthetic conditions of equipment and plant the effective elimination of bacterial load.
• Trains, schedules, and supervises the sanitation team to maintain the plant and equipment in a sanitary manner.
• Monitors microbiological reports from the plant to determine whether cleaning procedures are being followed.
• Participates in regular meetings with plant management to discuss quality and sanitation improvements.
• Be flexible to work with the entire sanitation team by working with different shifts and weekends as required.
• In collaboration with Food Safety Directors, plant Quality Managers and Sanitation Supervisors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $73,234.00 per year
