Subway Crew Member/Sandwich Artist

We are seeking a Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The Sandwich Artist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and handling light paperwork. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and serve guests with a cheerful and helpful manner while preparing their orders.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items and accurately explain them to guests.
• Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders, compute bills, and handle payment transactions.
• Perform Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
• Prepare food neatly, according to the provided formula, and in a timely manner.
• Regularly check and restock items in the sandwich unit area to ensure a sufficient supply.
• Adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during all food preparation, service, and clean-up activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and a clean image throughout all areas of the restaurant, following the 3-step cleaning method.
• Follow all quality standards, formulas, and procedures outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
• Complete assigned light paperwork duties.
• Successfully complete University of SUBWAY courses as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions.
