Nature and Scope

We are seeking a self-starter, with a bias towards action, who can recognize and make process improvement recommendations, who will also be motivated, team oriented and passionate about Salesforce technology. The Salesforce Administrator will identify new and creative opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com and its database to support additional business processes or functions, be responsible for the administration of Salesforce.com; this includes data migration, customization, system configuration, (maintenance, system enhancements/upgrades, etc.), creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training and data integrations, ensuring data hygiene and integrity. This role collaborates with functional leaders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
  • Sandbox environment management
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or under-utilized platform features Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • User support tickets
  • Monitor and improve user adoption
  • New user and ongoing user training
  • Working with integrated applications including, but not limited to, Accounting Seed, Pardot, ServiceCloud, FormStack, BigCommerce, Blackthorn
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce.com.
  • Establish and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations, Information Technology and other business stakeholders to drive high levels of data integrity and operational reliability of our standardized business analytics, tools and processes.
