Marsh has an exciting opportunity for a SALES PROFESSIONAL to join our market-leading Sales Team in our Office in Puerto Rico. This role is within our dynamic and growing sales team.

What´s in it for you?

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs;
  • Interface closely with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production;
  • Keep abreast of changing insurance and risk management market conditions;
  • Ensure compliance with our business protocols and local regulatory requirements;
  • Business development with new customers, conducting market research and making cold calls to develop effective sales proposals;
  • Relationship management with current accounts, understanding client risks and supporting Senior Colleagues in advising on insurance strategy solutions.
  • In addittion to the base salary this position has an agressive sales comission without a limit on earnings

We will count on you to:

  • Contribute with new ideas to improve Marsh’s approach with its clients.
  • Execute sales goals by maintaining a large book of business of complex or high-yield accounts by conducting frequent sales presentations, calls and meetings
  • Apply highly developed market and internal service offering insights to sales cold calls to engage potential clients, generate interest and schedule meetings or presentations
  • Create sales proposals, presentations and RFP responses which creatively and effectively address complex prospect needs and appropriately communicate the business value of internal services and offerings
  • Lead complex account processes from the identification stage to closing; leading pricing negotiations, facilitating product and expectation discussions and ultimately securing a beneficial financial outcome for the business
  • Support commercial teams in biddings and renewals

What you need to have:

  • University Degree, preferably in Economics (Management, Finance, Risk Management, etc.), Law, Management Engineering, Statistics, International Relations, Political, Social and Organizational Science
  • 2 years minimun in Development, client relationship, sales or client facing roles
  • Consolidated record of achieving sales goals
  • A high level of communication skills, essential for establishing good working relationships
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • English language fluency
