Sales Executive
Job description
We seek independent contractor B2B Sales Executives to actively seek out and engage prospects for our B2B seafood industry e-commerce platform. Dealboard (www.Dealboard.biz) is the future of wholesale seafood transactions. We bring desperately needed digital transformation to an industry ready to grow, modernize and operate productively and safely.
Sales Executives are responsible for converting trial participants into subscribing members, managing and growing key accounts and adding new accounts in a defined target market.
This position requires you to have prior sales experience at a national or international level and at least 3 years in a seafood industry role (producer, processor, distributor, national restaurant/grocery.)
You are professional, self-motivated and organized, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct robust outreach to seafood companies through cold calling, email and social media communication with appropriate individuals in target companies
- Shepherd prospective members through the sales process from lead to sale: .Perform discovery and needs analysis to understand the prospect's situation and needs
.Present, promote and sell Dealboard service packages using solid arguments to map our solution to the prospect's needs with a clear value proposition
.Manage objections through solid logic and compelling messages
.Create urgency for prospective members to complete the sale
- Build and develop positive business relationships with prospective and current members
- Log all customer activities (calls, emails, meetings), prospect status and progress within Dealboard’s CRM system (HubSpot).
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Continuously improve through feedback, and contribute to collective business improvement as a coach and collaborative team member
Skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record as a sales representative
- At least 3 years of seafood industry experience
- At least 3 years of sales experience at national and/or international level
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Self-Motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and outside of a traditional office environment.
- Prioritization, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to use systems and apps such as HubSpot, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, LinkedIn and others as prescribed.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent is a nice-to-have
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
