Responsibilities
The position is to deliver total and customer-specific volume, gross sales, net sales, mix, margin and profit targets, while also improving our in-store execution scorecard. This position will be in the Key Account department.
- Building trustworthy relationships at store operation and Market Manager level.
- Ability to present both qualitative and quantitative summaries of customers' business at the store level as well as at the Market level.
- Ability to train field personnel on Walmart's best way, including cap stock, VOLT, and in-stock reporting.
- Proficient in Coaching & Training field sales teams. This includes developing front-line sales representatives the knowledge and accurate information for store manager business review
- Incrementally sell programs and events that will generate profitable execution at the local store level.
- Co-Develop and maintain scorecards by individual stores, with a focus on cold and warm SOVI (Share Of Visual Inventory) performance.
- Ensure that stores are “Day One Minute One” executing on planned events.
- Work with our franchise partners (Coca-Cola, Monster, Body Armor KDP) to achieve joint business goals.
- The position requires 4 days in the outlined territory while visiting sixteen stores weekly and up to 20% overnight travel.
- The position will require daily recaps of accomplishments and quantitative analysis of the store’s performance.
- Candidate must be able to work cross-functionally with the Sales, Distribution, and Revenue Growth Management Departments.
- The candidate demonstrates the drive to do things better and see new and innovative ideas, to drive performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- B.A. degree in Business preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience preferably in the goods/beverage industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires experience managing budgets and making customer calls
- Strong understanding of business metrics such as Margins and ROI’s, along with a firm understanding of our business from a package mix and gross profit standpoint.
- Prior Account Management or sales experience required
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
- Proficient computer application skills
- Ability to create and conduct sales presentations
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines
