Pee Dee Outfitters is a southern lifestyle retailer committed to providing small town customers with top-tier apparel, footwear, and accessories brands. Pee Dee Outfitters is a privately held company that operates stores in North Carolina and South Carolina. Stores operate Monday – Saturday, no Sunday work required. The stores feature the hottest brands, such as Hey Dude, Bogg Bag, Simply Southern, Southern Tide, Patagonia, Columbia, Carhartt, Old Row, YETI, Birkenstock, Rainbow Sandals, Costa, Ray Bans, Sheila Fajl, and many more.

Pee Dee Outfitters is currently searching for outgoing and energetic Sales Associates. A Sales Associate’s primary job is to be attentive to customers’ needs throughout the entire shopping experience. He or she must be friendly and eager to interact with all customers. He or she must also be a conscientious and collaborative team player, willing to assist fellow Sales Associates and follow all rules as instructed by the Store Manager. This position will daily assist in receiving shipments, conducting inventory, tagging products, merchandising goods, and operating the cash register.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Moves around the sales floor to be always visible and available to customers
• Provides product knowledge to customers
• Works with fellow employees to meet store and company objectives
• Receives new shipments quickly to ensure a fresh product selection on the sales floor
• Replenishes sales floor with back stock when possible
• Executes POS procedures diligently to ensure satisfied customers
• Communicates clearly and effectively with other associates and management
• Maintains a professional attitude and appropriate casual dress

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must exhibit a willingness to learn
• Must be dependable and flexible to cover scheduled shifts
• Must be available to work Saturday shifts
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift materials up to 50 lbs. with available accommodations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
