USA Professional Services Group is searching for a motivated, detail-oriented, top performer to join our fast-growing engineering and survey services team. A strong desire to be a part of a cohesive team, good communication, and problem-solving skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities:
· Supervise or coordinate the work of field crew, survey technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
· Take responsible charge of professional land surveying projects as requested.
· Effectively communicate with Clients, construction personnel, local authorities, and the general public as needed.
· Successfully complete projects within established schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
· Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction as well as participate in the development of new clients.
· Oversee Surveying production to coordinate with Engineering needs and expectations, as well as meet the needs of independent Surveying clients.
· Support, coach, and develop the Surveying personnel to achieve their personal as well as company goals, directives, and successes.
· Be knowledgeable of the Company's marketing plan and policy and participate in its implementation as appropriate.
· Develop sales and marketing skills to prepare for future leadership in the Company.
· Expand relationships with existing clients and learn what their future plans are to ensure their continued business affecting the Company's growth.
· Prepare Surveying fee proposals to ensure profitable, executed proposals for projects.
· Participate in the activities of professional and service organizations that allow for company exposure and opportunities.
· Assist in overseeing and leading the development of the Company's long-range vision, goals, and direction to ensure the organizational structure and strategies are in place to allow future company growth and success, specifically in the Surveying Department.
· Assist in developing key action plans regarding the overall development and structure of the Company to ensure the positive direction of the Company per the strategic plan and specifically to implement in the Survey Department.
· Use of Civil 3D to modify, correct and update documents.
· Oversees field crew work and CAD drafting work and sees that responsibilities are assigned and execution of tasks are begun and completed according to schedule
· Prepare monthly Surveying project billings so clients are billed timely for services rendered and Company cash flow is maintained.
· Assist in producing and maintaining a quarterly and annual budget to provide financial direction for the Surveying Department.
Requirements:
· Registration as Professional Land Surveyor in Texas or another state with the ability to obtain registration in Texas within six months.
· At least 7+ years of relevant experience in land development surveying with a preference for DFW area Cities and municipal/governmental construction projects and Filing Plats.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to read and comprehend easement documents and boundaries
· Ability to apply technical expertise to verify engineered plans, create elevation/grade cutsheets, manage construction layout staking, manage re-staking of property lines and corners, manage verification reporting, and create as-built plan documentation.
· Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
· CADD and computer proficient
· The successful applicant must possess a valid driver's license and have an insurable vehicle driving record.
· Successfully complete projects within established schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
· Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction as well as participate in the development of new clients.
· Be in good standing with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
· Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Salary: Based on Experience & Qualifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
