Now, we’re looking for a robotic process automation (RPA) product owner (PO) to join our ranks! Our ideal candidate is a creative, open-minded problem solver with effective time management and communication skills. As a PO, you will use your experience working with IT product management and business stakeholders to ensure that our solutions effectively address corresponding needs. In this highly collaborative position, you will strategize the best approach to help move projects from the concept stage to a successful rollout.

With a commitment to indispensable service, you will be the lead member and advocate of the Agile solutions team and serve as the voice of the customer. You will be responsible for working with customers, business owners, and stakeholders to be an expert in who they are, what they do, what their pain points are, and what they want to achieve. Ultimately, you will define and prioritize a product backlog of solutions that effectively addresses their business needs. You will also be responsible for researching and documenting new project ideas, understanding vendor roadmaps, and proactively managing an application portfolio for both the business and our advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritizing development team backlog (based on understanding of projects, applications, and imminent business needs)
• Maintaining accurate and current records of changing business requests for all IT products, business owners, and departments supported
• Researching and developing project overview statements
• Defining up-to-date product roadmaps in alignment with an evolving marketplace, technical trends, and efficiencies
• Working closely with the Project Management office to ensure project requests are accurately represented and a product’s future direction is understood
• Analyzing and documenting new project ideas; updating changing priorities accordingly
• Logging user feedback and responding in a timely manner
• Coordinating and facilitating end user and business testing
• Providing and recording user story details for Scrum team project planning
• Acting as a point of contact to translate business requests into technical requests
• Presenting new product enhancements and identifying areas for improvement
• Serving as an IT liaison between the business and our technology department

Core Strengths and Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on business experience as a PO, strategist, or project manager
• Experience with RPA technologies such as Automation Anywhere
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Persuasive and insightful product strategy
• Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Team Services, or Azure DevOps
• Office 365 cloud platform tool familiarity a plus
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
• Proficient multitasking skills
• Exceptionally detail oriented
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization
