Proformance Roofing has an immediate opening for Roofing Purchasing Agent. If you have experience in Material ordering, Scheduling, Data Entry, Customer Serving for the roofing construction industry- we have a career opportunity for you!
Job Requirements:
- Background and experience in Residential Construction a plus
- Reviewing and Processing orders of each specific job
- Issue purchase orders (PO) to vendors to secure materials for jobs and to secure inventory
- Verify receipts and cost information based on current account pricing
- Manage purchase requests from superintendents and yard personnel
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to drive consistency and improvement in order acknowledgement response time, on-time, in-full delivery, and delivery flexibility.
- Resolve supplier delivery and quality issues.
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Some QuickBooks functions
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment supporting our customers.
- Clear communication skills, both verbally and written
- Excellent follow up skills & work ethic
- Proficient in all MS office programs, typing and computer navigation skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
