RN Wound Care Job Summary:

Under rhe direction of the Nuse Manager and Director, the RN communicates and collaborates with physicans and other memebers of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for in-patient and out-patient with wound, ostomy, and HBO needs/conditions. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility for patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate care for chronic wound, ostomy and hyperbaric patients. The RN works within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act and follows all department and hospital policies and procedures. He/She complies with all hospital standards and nursing clincial practice guidelines while performing job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

RN Wound Care Per Diem Days candidate will possess the following education, licenses/certifications, and experience:

Mandatory:

• Possession of valid Registered Nurse License issued by the state of California
• Valid BLS

Preferred:

• Wound Care Experience
• Wound Care Certification

Pay range: $45.08 Minimum - $69.86 Maximum an hour

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
