Job description

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible to the Department Director or Manager and is to be clinically competent; delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Salary Range: $36.32/hr to $64.31/hr DOE

Education:

RN required, BSN preferred. Knowledge of fundamentals of nursing practice, obstetrical nursing and neonatal/fetal monitoring.

Current Washington State RN License required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. NRP required within six months of hire. Perinatal Education Consortium (PEC) is required within one year of hire for nurses that do not have prior Labor and Delivery experience only.

A minimum of one year recent perinatal nursing experience.
