Location: New York, NY
Blended rate: $3200/wk
Stipend: $2359/wk
13-week contract
Shift Pattern: Days - 3x12's - 7:30a-8p - 36hrs/wk
Required - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct nursing care to patients following established nursing standards.
- Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Documents patient care accurately and completely in the electronic medical records system.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for the patient.
- Educates patients and their families about their care plan.
- Monitors and reports changes in the patient’s condition to the healthcare team.
- Prepares patients for surgery and facilitates post-operative recovery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in MedSurg nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation.
