Job Title: Quality & Risk Management Specialist

Location: Herndon, VA

Position type: Onsite

Role Summary:

The Quality & Risk Management Specialist has the opportunity to utilize company-wide established systems to impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness across the entire Sales & Marketing division.

The role reports to the Senior Manager Sales Strategy & Dealer Relations and guides a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a continued achievement of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements as well as Product Compliance requirements. As part of this role he or she will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate risk management per compliance guidelines and the continuous improvement of our on-boarding process. This role will work cross-functionally to create and enforce standard processes and facilitate training were needed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate activities for the Sales & Marketing division to review progress, track changes and offer support in the fulfillment of:

• ISO 9001 and the company’s Quality Management System’s (QMS) requirements

• Product Compliance Management System (PCMS) assignments

• Risk Management assignments

• Internal Audit assignments

• Serve as liaison between the central QMS, PCMS, Risk & Internal Audit teams and Sales & Marketing division departmental designees

• Lead all preparation activities including document readiness and training in anticipation of internal and external audits

• Track, monitor and if needed, facilitate the fulfillment of corrective actions identified during internal or external audits

• Develop strategies to promote natural integration of Quality and Risk processes into daily business activities across the division

• Responsible for the setup and maintenance of standardized templates

• Develop and provide training on various role related subjects

• Responsible for upkeep and execution of Sales & Marketing division new hire orientation

• Analyze business events and data; evaluate possible solutions; and present recommendations to management

Skills:

Required

• Experience setting up process documentation

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally

• Proven ability to motivate large groups of people to upkeep process documentation

• Advanced experience in Project Management

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

Desired

• Microsoft Project experience

• Automotive Industry experience

• Experience guiding an organization through ISO 9001 qualification

• Experience with Risk Management

• Prior use of Visio

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
