Responsible for painting interiors and minor exterior surfaces of residential homes within Fort Gordon, GA. As a Painter, you will assist in making residential homes move-in ready. Every day, you’ll be creating the best possible experience within our residential communities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide interior painting of all walls in all rooms, previously painted floors in storerooms, patios, and carports, exterior patio walls (walls inside screened in patios), exterior of all exterior doors or doors that exit outside from the dwelling and ceilings on a case-by-case basis.
• Provide exterior painting on all surfaces exposed to the weather as required.
• Mask and cover as required to protect adjacent surfaces.
• Prepare all existing drywall to receive paint.
• Mix, carry and apply paints to walls, ceilings, and trim.
• Clean, protect, move materials, tools and equipment.
• Erect ladders.
• Support multiple residential sites within military installation
• Ensure follow through on assigned maintenance tasks using in-house assignment system and respond to time-sensitive maintenance needs
• Coordinate with other service providers
• Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a painter apprenticeship program or 1+ year in the painting trade working under a journey-level painter preferred.
• Knowledge of Paints – urethanes, epoxies, and enamels.

• 1+ years of related experience in a residential property setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
• Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
• Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing

PAY & BENEFITS

• Residential Painter pay range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
• Actual pay depends on education, experience, and performance.
