Title: Residence Counselor - Sign on bonus of $1000.00!
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is hiring for Residence Counselors to join our growing team! Positions are available in Barneveld, Clinton, Marcy, Rome and Utica and offer full time and part time schedules. Residence Counselors provide management of the day-to-day operations of the residences, supervision of the individuals day-to-day activities, socialization, recreation and daily living skills development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day to day implementation of assigned person we support’s Life Plan/Day Habilitation Plan utilizing as many appropriate resources as possible in the community
- Ensuring supervision of assigned persons at all times
- Promote and follow person driven choices in independence, individualization, inclusion, and productivity
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the person we support, working with the person and other team members to help determine and achieve valued outcomes for the individuals
QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS drivers license & acceptable driving record
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
