Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm (Hybrid in-person and remote)
Salary: $67,000 / year
The Project Manager will participate in a workforce resiliency research and implementation project led by prominent researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Mongan Institute, funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. This study joins together federal funding, researchers, and two leading human service providers to improve resiliency and reduce burnout among staff working in group homes for adults with serious mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The study will implement a Resiliency Training designed by researchers at MGH which has shown to be effective at improving resilience and reducing stress among healthcare workers. The Resiliency Training will be implemented in comparison to a Quality Improvement Learning Collaborative.The Project Manager will lead a team of Research Assistants, including Resiliency Training and Quality Improvement Collaborative Research Assistants, to coordinate the implementation of Resiliency Training and learning collaboratives across 180 randomized group homes, and oversee data collection.
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of Research Assistants and study staff; trains and evaluates them.
- Ensures that fidelity to intervention models is maintained across Research Assistants, as required by specific research project protocols.
- Develops materials and conducts presentations to introduce studies to staff across the organization.
- Coordinates within Vinfen across program leadership, staff and persons served.
- Coordinates with staff and organization representatives to develop systems for delivering interventions within their settings, as needed.
- Creates systems for and supervises the administration of assessments and data collection as required by specific research study protocols.
- Secures certification for Protecting Human Research Subjects as required.
- Assists with IRB materials and coordinates with appropriate IRBs regarding protocols and requirements. Keeps track of IRB submission deadlines and submits reports and other material on time including study protocols, renewal material reports, adverse event reports, revision requests, as assigned by the Principal Investigator Team.
- Assists in the preparation of oral presentations of research findings and their significance in various settings such as departmental/laboratory staff meetings, conferences, meetings, and professional
- Communicates with research personnel in multiple settings.
- Attends weekly research team meetings.
- Performs other duties, as required.

- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree in related field preferred
- Three to five years' experience in human services, quality improvement, or research preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Organizational, analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and obstacles and develop effective, creative solutions
- Must be able to successfully pass a multistate CORI, reference check, employment verification, education and credentialing background check
