Description:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of QC Bioassays or department manager, perform general laboratory research and experiments following established protocols and SOPs. The Research Associate I will perform routine laboratory and equipment maintenance, assist with ongoing research projects either independently or as a team member, analyze and archive study data.

Will spend 1-2 hours in the morning at Newark at the HQ then will go to in-vivo lab in Mt view; help weigh animals and do observations.

80-90% time in Mt. View & 10-20% time in Newark HQ.

Animal scoring and assisting with experiments.

Working with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs.

Preferred Experience:

• Comfortable in handling mouse/rats
• Ability to learn new techniques under supervision.

• Ability to do number crunching/ calculations in excel and graphing along with good word processing skills

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in biology required.

Preferred Additional Skills (i.e., Computer):

Proficiency in MS office
