Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
A Research Assistant with a Bachelor’s degree in a field of Biology and experience in supporting laboratory research or animal care is required to assist the principal investigator for execution of extramurally-funded research studies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Biological or related sciences from an accredited institution of higher education.
Experience:
Two years in research coordination, administrative or communication / technical writing experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal, written and editing skills, as well as excellent grammatical skills, are a must.
- Technical writing skills, particularly related to biological or other natural sciences.
- Computational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create and maintain orderly records.
