Do you enjoy working with customers to provide an equipment solution to their outdoor projects? Do you have experience in rental services, turf & tractor equipment, construction equipment, checking-in, unloading and delivery when needed? PowerPro Equipment is looking for a Rental Services Specialist with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in demonstrating how to use the equipment, communicate safe practices and proper use of equipment, deliver or pick-up when drivers are not scheduled and maintain inventory control along with the business processes of rental service. Looking for 1 specialist in each of the following locations: New Holland, PA and Fontana, PA.

Position Responsibilities:

Customer Experience Champion

• Greet Customers, walk-in or phone, with supportive manner to earn their business
• Embrace and support positive change for Fontana Location with all internal and external Customers
• Generate excitement for PowerPro products and services for all Customers

Conduct Daily Rental Operations:

• Field incoming customer calls & identify customer equipment needs
• Ask questions to identify customers equipment needs
• Recommend correct equipment to customers & close the rental sale
• Fully understand Customer need and recommend necessary accessories, including upselling to Customer
• Generate rental contracts in computer system
• Maintain an accurate and effective delivery schedule and ensure on-time deliveries
• Communicate directions clearly and provide accurate documentation to Delivery Drivers or deliver when necessary.
• Review open contracts and conduct recurring billing weekly
• Maintain a clean, orderly, Rental Department Showroom (Indoor and Outdoor)
• Communicate promotions to generate interest and add value to each opportunity
• Receive returned equipment or arrange for pick-up. Inspect equipment for damage upon return from rental.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to the customer or how to operate the equipment properly and safely.

Showroom Sales Assistance

• Assist with Showroom Sales when needed
• Provide cashier functions to assist Customers paying for purchases
• All other tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Outdoor Power, Construction, Lawn & Garden Equipment Rental sales and service experience preferred
• Ability to understand and provide for the customer needs
• Positive attitude, exuding courtesy and helpfulness
• Organized and detail oriented, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in all kinds of weather
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and retain a valid DOT Medical Certification
• Willingness to participate and ability to pass the pre-employment background check and drug screening process.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
