Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to develop optimized maintenance strategies for plant equipment based on FMEA and other reliability methodologies, facilitate root cause failure analysis, recommend design changes determined by RCM studies, prioritize, and eliminate defects, develop critical spare parts lists, determine, understand, and manage asset risks. The Reliability Engineer leads the site’s reliability network and ensures that the initiatives are progressing.

Responsibilities

· Asset risk management - Support the leadership team in managing existing and potential risks in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the organization regarding health, safety and environment (HSE), equipment capacity, quality, productivity, and maintenance costs.

· Loss elimination (defects) - Determine the means to reduce losses using data from production losses (reliability and availability), failures, breakdowns, and asset maintenance costs.

· Managing the asset life cycle - Determine the strategies to achieve minimum life cycle cost for the asset.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.

· Proficiency in Business Improvement (Lean – Six Sigma) preferred.

· Proficiency in “Reliability Centered Maintenance” analysis and facilitation (RCM).

Salary – $83,312 - $102,890
