Job description
A prestigious facility in Rhinebeck, NY is currently seeking experienced Long-Term Care (LTC) RNs available for 13-week contract assignments (local or travel). 2+ years LTC or Med/Surg experience required. ASAP start.
** Option of 3 or 4 shifts per week !!
- Travel Rate (4) shifts: $4,200 to $4,300 /week
- Travel Rate (3) shifts: $3,000 to $3,100 /week
- Local pay rate is $81 to $90 /hour ($2,800 to $2,900 weekly for 3 shifts; $4,050 to $4,150 weekly for 4 shifts)
- (3) or (4) 12-hour DAY or NIGHT shifts (7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a)
- Paid weekly, including health benefits
- 2+ years LTC or Med/Surg experience required
- Assignment could be extended for a long-term contract
- 13 weeks with strong possibility for extension
- ASAP start date
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a long-term care facility.
- Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient long-term care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
- Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records.
- Promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
