Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nursing Director is responsible for ensuring the appropriate placement of patients throughout the hospital, and works with Case Management, Nursing, Environmental Services and any other department in order to proactively plan for patient admissions, discharges and transfers for effective patient flow. Conducts frequent rounds to identify actual and potential bed availability, and actively participates and contributes to organizational initiatives that impact patient flow and reduce barriers to effective patient throughput.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Florida Registered Nurse License
• Bachelors Degree Nursing
• 2 years related leadership experience preferred
