A prestigious healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for an ICU Registered Nurse for one of its hospitals on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, and making recommendations for adjustments in patient care as needed.
- Develop and implement an individualized care plan, including developmental and cultural needs.
- Anticipate and assess patients for potential complications, identify abnormal findings, determine appropriate nursing intervention, evaluate patients’ responses, and communicate status & needs to the physician and appropriate personnel.
- Continually monitor ICU and Telemetry cardiac rhythms, posting rhythm strips, responding to alarms, correctly identifying dysrhythmias, and intervening appropriately.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the care plan and care after discharge or transfer.
- Participate in quality review, performance improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives within the department.
Qualifications:
- An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- 1+ years of ICU experience preferred.

- Full-time, permanent position
- Schedule; 3x12
- Two shifts available; 3p-3a and 3a-3p
- Pay; $35-45/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
