Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Atrium Health Mercy, 2001 Vail Ave, Charlotte, NC 28207
Pay Rate: $64/hr | $2304/wk
Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team at Atrium Health Mercy. As an ED RN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic emergency department setting. You will assess and triage patients, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in emergency procedures and provide support during critical situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina
- BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- NIHSS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
Shift Pattern:
This is a 13-week contract position with a shift pattern of 3x12s (36 hours) from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Pay and Benefits:
