  • Experience working with people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities is a plus, but not a requirement, and we will meet you where you are when providing training to you.
  • This position is not shift-based, holidays and weekends are not required (but may be necessary at times), and comes with excellent benefits. You will generally set your own schedule while meeting the needs of people served and your coworkers.


Some of the duties included in this position are:

  • Staff education and training
  • Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, plan, intervention, evaluation, and outcomes for both acute and chronic health needs
  • Education of people served
  • Service coordination
  • Quality assurance
  • Documentation/record-keeping
  • Arranging medical or other health-related appointments
  • Managing medication administration and treatments


Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have an active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota .
  • Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a background check through MN Department of Human Services.
  • Proficient in managing health services for people who have disabilities and other related conditions.
  • The ability to effectively teach, train and mentor staff to provide effective healthcare services to people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective member of multiple teams.
  • Previous experience & proficiency in managing health services for people who have disabilities and other related conditions including the ability to effectively teach, train and mentor staff to provide effective healthcare services to people.
