JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for business growth, development, and profitability of divisions in accordance with annual business plans, ground zero plans, budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assumes overall accountability for Divisional Operations as noted above and relative to:

o Employee performance, productivity, career planning and morale

o Customer and Partner communications, service, business development and retention

o Global logistics solutions development

o Standardized new account transitions.

- Responsible for profitability management through:

o Budgetary monitoring

o Cash flow analysis

o Net margin segmentation by customer and product

- Develops, implements, and administers annual business plans, ground zero plans, including monthly deviation analysis (reporting monthly +/- 10% deviations).

- Provides sales support as necessary.

- Manages Partnership/Agent relationship development and retention.

- Performs Bid/RFI/RFQ cost/benefit analysis and price authorization.

- Ensure that all decisions and actions take into account the utmost safety in respect to the quality of the Environment, and health of employees and contractors in which BDP interacts with on a daily basis.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years industry experience, with at least 4 years in an upper management role; candidate must have managed at least 5 Direct Reports in the past, prefer international experience, at least 4 years of managing a P&L.

Education: 4 years of college or additional 5 years management experience.

Knowledge/Technical Skills: Transportation industry – Air/Ocean Import/Export knowledge; regulatory and business development.
