Summary

A Talent Acquisition Partner is a self managed individual with budget control who can lead and mentor teammates. They work with leaders to recruit the best fit for the staffing needs of today and tomorrow that help the organization achieve its goals. You will also actively participate in the continual development of our Talent Acquisition practice as we evolve with the right balance of technology and personal touch. This person will ideally be located in the following areas: Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas or South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to plan, guide and recruit to meet staffing needs
  • Consult and advise business leaders on sourcing strategies, accuracy of job requirements, labor market data, talent selection and offer negotiations
  • Provide an outstanding experience for leaders and candidates through full cycle recruitment
  • Actively participate in the continual development of our TA practice as we continually evolve the right balance of technology and personal touch
  • Provide sourcing, screening, and selection services along with guidance to leaders
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, networking, university relations, and Boolean searches
  • Conduct thorough first round phone screens, ensuring quality candidates are presented to hiring managers
  • Build a pipeline of talent, especially for key business driving jobs
  • Maximize available technology and continually enhance its use
  • Create and manage requisitions and advertisements
  • Identify, plan, and host or attend on an off campus recruiting events (traveling as appropriate)
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to other TA and HR team members as they will also support you.
  • Partner with Onboarding Specialist and Learning Development team to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the banking industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A teamwork focus and enthusiastic positive attitude
  • Flexibility and agility to adjust quickly to internal and external changes
  • Strong interviewing skills and demonstrated mastery of behavioral interviewing
  • Experience in sourcing and building relationships with passive candidates utilizing tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed Resumes and local/national networks
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) preferred
  • Experience with candidate relationship management (CRM) systems preferred
  • Excellent communicator and listener who is assertive yet personable and flexible
  • AIRS certification preferred
