24/7 Residential Addiction Treatment Facility for Male Adolescents – RECOVERY AIDES HELPING CHANGE LIVES!!!!!

Needed: - PRN positions All Shifts

$500 bonus after working a total of 500 eligible hours on all 2nd shifts or on 1st shift, weekends only. Supplemental pay for bachelor's degree and MAC certification.

The Recovery Aide (RA) demonstrates an understanding, patient, and receptive attitude toward youth of varied backgrounds and stages of change. YOU would provide support to all clients and utilizes positive behavioral interventions and strategies to ensure the security and safety of all clients. Constant and immediate supervision of clients is a must.

Recovery Aides are extremely helpful by modeling and helping clients learn to express their needs in a healthier manner. This enables the program environment to be more harmonious and conducive to learning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to model appropriate behaviors
• Basic knowledge of adolescent growth and development, particularly about youths with a history of substance abuse
• Being on time for all scheduled shifts and willing to stay and work beyond the scheduled time (over-time) if needed.
• Secure CPR and First Aide certification within thirty (30) days of the date of hire and maintain

Job Responsibilities

• Support clients throughout the daily schedule of activities including meals, education, recreation, group time, and sleeping hours.
• Intervention in instances of client violation of program rules or safety regulations using approved methods.
• Conduct basic living skills group and assist with activities -as required.
• Provide client transportation in company vehicle if needed
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and in-service meetings as required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, of activities and incidents as required by procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.04 - $11.25 per hour
