We are an established, privately-owned small animal, dental specialty hospital with a growing clientele located in Overland Park, Kansas. We are a friendly, passionate group who love what we do, and it shows in how we approach our clients, patients, and each other. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated to lend his/ her skills to enhance our team. The ideal candidate would be someone who values teamwork, has an upbeat personality, and exceptional verbal skills; someone who is compassionate about their work and can have fun while doing it. Companion Animal Dentistry provides advanced, customer care for our patients, including specialized surgical procedures, and the latest medical technologies. Our doctors and staff are a collaborative, cohesive team, and the environment is one where everyone’s contributions are valued. Customer Service Representatives are the first impression for our clients and they set the tone for our practice. The CSR is the pivot around the hospital’s operation and CSR’s are responsible but not limited to: ● Welcoming pets and their caregivers to our practice, informing medical team patients have arrived, and maintaining a harmonious workflow during the check in and check out process. ● Gathering and certifying pet and owner information and entering it into the computer. ● Answering a multi-line phone system, preparing for next day appointments, inquiry of medical records and ensuring all records are processed into patients’ files correctly. ● Appointment scheduling, confirming appointments and reminding owners of pre-operative care instructions, follow up care calls, and properly respond to emails. ● Client education and understanding common veterinary terminology and pet behavior. ● Clerical responsibilities, accepting and recording various forms of payment, collecting outstanding balances, balancing cash drawer/ handling money, and ensuring services and product sales are correctly accounted for. ● Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital to ensure a great client experience. ● Knowledgeable on retail items within the clinic and encouraging retail sales. *Are you ready to join our extraordinary team that feels like family and makes an impact on pets one tooth at a time? *Apply today for immediate consideration!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
