Receiver Job Summary

21 Hours per week

MWF 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

T & TH 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Competitive hourly wage and Benefits

Required: Valid Driver’s license and use of vehicle. Ability to safely lift 60 lbs. and to regularly carry up to 50 lbs. up and down stairs

Job Summary

As Receiver performs duties including and related to:

Ordering and purchasing of food and supplies

Receiving of and storage of food and supplies

Maintaining safe food handling and storage procedures

Maintaining organization and cleanliness of food storage areas, freezers and refrigerators

Maintaining daily records of all food donations for administrative and reporting purposes

Maintaining weekly inventory of food stores

Maintaining records of in-kind food donations for annual reporting

Completes end of year inventory for annual reporting

Assists Operations Manager as needed

Qualifications

Supports Loaves & Fishes’ mission

Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with all staff, volunteers, guests, and vendors

Sociable, and friendly, with excellent customer service skills

Experience in hospitality preferred

Ability to accept directions and to work independently

Ability to keep accurate written records and to input records into basic computer data base

Basic computer, email, and typing skills
