Job description

Newrock Partners is currently seeking a highly qualified Financial Analyst to lead our project and corporate financing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financing processes, including modeling and underwriting of acquired properties, deal structuring, debt procurement, debt management, forecasting, and performance analysis. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing finances related to venture affiliates, property equity raises for projects, and investor relations efforts for the company.

As a Financial Analyst you will be directly involved in all real estate investment and development transactions, coordinating and synthesizing information for the cross-functional team responsible for securing, closing, and executing these projects. Reporting directly to the Principal Officers, you will be responsible for the following primary responsibilities:

  • Direct budgeting and forecasting processes for all new development projects, ensuring corporate forecasting includes the most recent information.
  • Perform financial analysis for all new projects, as well as performance analysis for all existing properties and projects.
  • Manage debt financing platform for the company's real estate portfolio and for new and existing real estate developments.
  • Develop corporate policies and procedures related to the company's financing initiatives.
  • Review loan documents and manage the loan closing process, including handling all lender and third-party deliverables.
  • Negotiate construction loans for new development projects and permanent refinances for maturing loans.
  • Lease administration and occasional creation of lease-related documents.
  • Manage existing and develop new lender relationships.
  • Assist real estate and development teams with due diligence on an as-needed basis.
  • Create offering memorandums and coordinate activities to raise equity capital.
  • Manage investor relation activities and serve as a single point of contact for investors across all investments.
  • Assist the lead company on varied ad hoc analysis projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in Real Estate Finance, Commercial Banking, or Private Equity. 2 years must be in Real Estate
  • Undergrad in Finance and/or Accounting (MBA preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to design/build complex models
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Highly critical and analytical personality; attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with key stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Must be able to excel in a cross-collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong ambition to advance through dedicated work and a desire to learn.
  • This role works in our Oakland Park office. Remote and/or Hybrid is not available.

Salary range for this position isb90k - 110K

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
