Job Summary*

Essential Functions/Duties
The Quality Technician strives to accurately test and document product conformance with requirements. Other duties include:

• Perform acceptance activities (e.g. receiving, in-process, & final inspection)
• Read inspection requirements, utilize manual gauges, operate vision systems and CMM’s
• Create and approve customer certificates of conformance
• Document nonconformance of goods and services
• Review and audit Medical Device records for comprehensiveness
• Complete records using good documentation practices
• Execute document and record control activities
• Support implementation and execution of lean manufacturing methods
• Assist in process validations and gauge repeatability and reliability studies
• Utilize measuring equipment for its intended use and document the results

Education/Experience
Some education or experience in manufacturing technology or laboratory sciences and familiarity with inspection tools and processes is preferred
