Job description
Summary: Responsible for promoting, applying, supporting and improving the quality system within the contract with the goal of increasing productivity and decreasing errors in all aspects of the business. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Monitor all aspects of the contract operation with respect to quality.
- Perform audits to ensure in and outbound quality of all products and services.
- Perform external audits of vendors.
- Host internal audits.
- Lead Special Quality Projects Teams.
- Facilitate the development and continuous improvement of the contract’s work instructions, control plans, and flow charts.
- Process non-conforming material and serve as back –up for processing of Returned goods (RMA)
- Support the data reporting of the customer complaint logs, internal errors, (RMA), and non-conforming product.
- Assist the Quality Staff and workforce with the corrective action process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Accurate typing and/or data entry skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
- Must have knowledge of auditing processes in a regulated environment.
- Analytical, self-starting, creative, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Minimum:
o Associates Degree.
o Experience in a facility with an implemented Quality System.
Preferred:
o Bachelor’s Degree.
o Quality Assurance/Quality control System 3 years' experience (primarily ISO13485 or 21CFR820.
Travel: Limited travel- Once a quarter
