We are seeking a Quality Manager

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The Quality Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Engineering and will work with key partners across the organization to implement and govern the quality management system for the Commercial Snow and Ice Division of Douglas Dynamics.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Assess all quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control activities across the organization
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System
  • Provide expert level guidance to the organization in the area of quality
  • Work with Douglas Dynamics Learning Center and the quality community to establish skill development plans related to product quality
  • Participate in the weekly quality action team meetings
  • Expand quality product metrics for both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Work with the operations team to establish lineside quality boards
  • Work with the Douglas Dynamics Management System team to update key manufacturing and business processes related to quality

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering Or BS equivalent with emphasis on quality management required
  • Advanced degree is a plus

Experience and/or Training:

  • 8+ years of experience in a quality organization
  • Experience in durable goods development and manufacturing preferred
