We are looking for a motivated candidate who can step into a fast-paced role as a Quality Coordinator. This position is supported by our current Quality Manager and the President of the company who has experience as the Quality Manager in a previous position within the company. Responsibilities will include maintaining compliance to ISO 9001:2015, managing the inspection lab/inspectors, calibration, resolving customer complaints/nonconformances, supplier management, and tracking/evaluating KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • A thorough understanding of ISO 9001 including document control, root cause analysis, corrective action, and internal auditing
  • Experience in a quality focused role and/or a degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with managing measuring device calibrations
  • Generation of SOP's
  • Experience with complex engineering drawings, including GD&T concepts
  • Communication skills with customers and vendors
  • Solid capabilities with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Preferable:

  • Training with ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience with AS9100 (AS9102 FAIRs specifically)
  • A background in manufacturing, specifically CNC machining
  • Experience with ERP systems, DISCUS, or UniPoint software
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • An understanding of CAD software packages and different types of 3D models

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
