Position Summary

Manage mortgage daily operations for Quality Control Servicing (from loan close to payoff, not front-end) staff to include managing employees, and his/her audit reviews. Position will be responsible for daily interactions and problem-solving with employees and conducting training as necessary.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages staff audits on all mortgage loan types utilizing agency guidelines and client overlays
  • Responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with clients
  • Manages and supervises employees to correct and/or enhance audit work product
  • Provide training and updates to direct report employees
  • Ensure that deadlines for completion are continually met
  • Set goals both daily and monthly for servicing staff
  • Direct servicing staff to ensure clients are being handled as needed
  • Handle personnel matters and counsel staff on policies and procedures, including termination of employees
  • Review time sheets bi-weekly, approve time off requests, prepare annual reviews, and handle disciplinary actions as needed
  • Supervise the servicing analyst team and provide expectations of high volume and quality on a client requirement basis
  • Hire, train, and develop new employees as needed
  • Other duties assigned by manager

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Mortgage Processing and Underwriting background does not qualify for this job
  • Minimum of 7 years in conventional and government servicing and/or quality assurance/quality control function in the servicing mortgage banking industry is required
  • Management experience is required
  • Experience in quality assurance in a multiple client environment is preferred
  • Must be able to use various computer software programs and have a working knowledge of all aspects of servicing including but not limited to Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Collections, REO, HAMP, General Servicing, etc.
  • Excellent working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in using software in a Windows or web-based environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
