Job Description:
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on plastic injection molding raw materials
- Conduct in-process inspection to ensure productions meet quality standards
- Use of measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure dimensions and tolerance of products
- Conduct visual inspection to identify defects or imperfections in products
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure they are properly calibrated
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure products are manufactured to specifications
Qualifications
:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in quality control in a plastic injection molding environment
- Experience with First Article (FAI), in-process inspection, reading blueprints and measurement tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs
Physical
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity to use measuring tools and inspect products
