Job description
AWC Frac Technology is seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team in Wellington, Colorado. The Quality Control Inspector has responsibility for the measurement and Inspection of material, machined and purchased items.
Essential Job Functions
- Measure and inspect parts, raw material, components and assemblies according to drawings, specifications and standards
- Perform Inspections and data recording of raw material
- Keep measuring tools and instruments in good working order
- Check job router paperwork for correctness
- Limited authority in packing and shipping inventory and/or equipment
- Limited authority in requesting purchase orders
- Limited authority in selecting vendors
- Limited authority in assessing/evaluating vendors
- Limited authority in performing vendor audits
- Limited authority in verifying completed NCRs
- Full authority for equipment maintenance responsibilities
- Full authority for equipment calibration responsibilities
- Limited authority for performing tests
- Full authority for performing inspections
- Limited authority for approving inspections and/or test results
- Limited authority for the disposition of non-conforming products
- Limited authority in verifying corrective actions
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 - 3 years related experience
- Basic Computer Skills
- Able to work independently and with initiative
- Able to make judgments in position and process
- Able to control work methods
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly
- Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions and orientation to the job
