Mid-size manufacturing company located in Macedonia, OH looking to fill the role of a Quality Assurance Technician I. ***This employee will need to train on day shift for approximately 3-4 weeks from 8AM-4PM.***

Primary Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Technician:

• Perform inspection activities including: Receiving Inspection, 1st article inspection, In-process Inspections
• Document inspection results into ERP system
• Perform measurements through use of various measurement devices
• Perform internal audits and/or 6S audits
• Control & isolate nonconforming product
• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB)
• Create Quality Alerts as needed
• Participate in Supplier and Internal Corrective Actions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of a Quality Assurance Technician:

• Ability to work 3rd shift; and other shifts if needed
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree not required but a plus
• 1 to 3 years of injection molding experience
• Ability to evaluate color visually and with measurement devices
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Ability to use basic measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
• CMM/VMM Experience preferred
• ERP system experience preferred
• LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Duties of a Quality Assurance Technician:

• Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on production floor
• Physical requirements include but not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping.

Job type: Full-time, temp-to-hire

Schedule:

• Rotational night shift
• 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
• 3 days one week and 4 days the next week (84 hours in a two-week period, with 4 hours of overtime per pay)

Pay: $19.75/hr
