• Collect retain samples of product as needed.
• Perform visual inspections for foreign material (pits, stems, wood, etc.).
• Pull product samples for microbiological analysis.
• Test product in process for various criteria, i.e., Brix, pH, Specific Gravity, Density, Peak, Viscosity, Color and Texture
• Notify proper personnel of quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures and practices.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in all Areas.
• Complete and monitor quality Control records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department manager.
• Perform the ATP Swab test.
• Perform and write up the pre-op sanitation reports.
• Perform Operational Inspections
• Perform random Sensory Evaluations and report observations.
• Capable of temporarily filling in as QC supervisor in his /or her absence.
• Review and sign off on Quality Control documentation, and file as needed.
• Write up and send out the Quality Control daily schedule and the Quality Control daily report as needed.

• Read and communicate fluently in English.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic Organoleptic/Savory Evaluations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of all SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP standards.
• Advanced knowledge of food safety.
• Knowledge of SQF highly beneficial.
• Extensive knowledge of products including but not limited to appearance and viscosity.

• May need to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
